Here are some frequently asked questions and answers that will help you how we operate, and what we can offer you.

Why should I consider art licensing service?

Do you know that you can earn from your creations in a different way than just selling your painting or its reprint? You can offer your work to be used in commercial products like clothing, stationery, publishing items, and many more.

Artful Bridge is an experienced commercial licensing company which acts as your representative in commercial business engaged in products manufacturing.

We work directly with manufacturers specializing in various industries such as stationary, fashion, puzzles, gaming, home décor, texitles etc.

As your representative we prepare your portfolio for professional pitching, actively market your creative works and take care of an effective promotion of your personal brand. As a result, we will find a producer who will want to publish products featuring your works within their portfolio and distribution network. We may also secure commissions from specific clients for you.

Artful Bridge handles licensing, contracts, and royalty accounting, allowing you to completely immerse yourself in your artistic work.

By negotiating the best licensing agreement, we can ensure that you are compensated fairly and appropriately.

What do I gain as an artist?

Here are some most important aspects worth considering:

1. We'll take care of seeking partners willing to publish their product featuring your work.

2. We’ll handle developing future projects with already gained collaborators.

3. We’ll deal with contract matters, negotiations, settlements, or other documentation.

As a result, you'll save time and be able to focus on your creative work. You'll have the assurance that you're collaborating with reputable producers and that all legal matters are secured. Last but not least, your works will appear on fantastic products on store shelves, not just locally, but worldwide.

What does the collaboration process with Artful Bridge look like?

First and foremost, we would like to get to know your creative work.

To achieve this, please submit a presentation of your portfolio according to the instructions in "How to submit art QA".

Your portfolio will undergo verification and, upon successful validation, will be featured on our platform. We will also commence active pitching of your works.

During our collaboration, we will approach you with proposals for creating exclusive pieces based on market feedback or trend analysis. Therefore, your future portfolio may include both your generic works and projects for which you receive specific commissions.

Of course, you are not obligated to provide us with works for specific commissions, but our experience demonstrates that doing so significantly enhances your commercial success.

Ideally, if within a year, you can supply us with new works, either in a generic or commissioned format.

How to submit art?

To submit your works, first introduce yourself to us: email link to your website, social media page or online portfolio at address or: licensing@artfulbridge.com.

If you do not have your artwork posted on-line, simply submit your portfolio at: licensing@artfulbridge.com and write something about yourself.

You don't need to send the entire portfolio initially; please send us around 10-20 pieces that showcase your character. If you work in multiple styles, show them to us. It would be best if you compressed your portfolio into a multi-page PDF. Do not include high-quality files; preview files are sufficient.

Your portfolio will be reviewed for commercial potential.

Within a maximum of 5 business days, we will contact you to discuss potential collaboration opportunities.

How will I earn?

Artists are entitled to revenue generated by Artful Bridge from the agency agreements. Each contract we write comes with its own unique terms. Licensing royalties or flat fee payments are based upon industry standards with different percentages paid for different products.

Some licensing agreements include advances. Licensing advances are determined by the individual manufacturer contracts and vary by industry and company.

When do I receive payment?

The advance payment is made after the agency and a manufacuter sign the contract. Royalties are paid out in the quarter following receipt of payment.

You’ll also receive a royalties report from us.

Will I keep my copyrights?

Yes, you retain the copyright to all your works.

The released products will also feature copyright notes providing information about the author and confirming cooperation with Artful Bridge.
